| if could be in front of the compressor... but you'd have a higher probability for compressor surge... as the air in the tubes past the BOVs would be stagnant (stopped), and the turbo would then have to push the air again... When its all the way at the TB, the excess air just gets released, and the compressed air just keeps flowing from the turbo... allows for quicker repeated spool while allowing the bleed off of the excess air. Win:Win... except for the environment... O_O
